Vibe coding means describing the app you want in everyday language while AI writes the underlying code; US search interest in the term rose about 140% year over year per Google Trends. The course requires no coding experience and covers planning, testing, debugging and deploying apps, with example projects such as a team dashboard, a workflow automation and a customer-intake tool. Google highlights Walmart logistics manager Leo Garcia, who built four custom apps including 'Get My Driver Home' that turned daily reporting meetings into 15-minute huddles. Verizon is offering the certificate to its workforce and customers, and Deloitte, Lyft and Walmart use the curriculum to train staff. The certificate carries an American Council on Education credit recommendation and includes three months of Google AI Pro.
